Estimated total build time: 8–12 hours | 180+ bricks | 19 steps below

Phase 1: Prep

01

Set Up Your Workspace

~5 min

Lay down a protective sheet on a sturdy table. Make sure you have good lighting and enough space to spread out all materials.

Open the kit and organize everything on the table: bricks sorted by type, mortar bags, tools, foundation mix, and roof pieces.

Tip

Work on a surface you don't mind getting a little dusty. The mortar washes off easily, but a protective sheet saves cleanup time.

02

Prepare the Brick Mortar

~5 min

Take the smallest container (the one that holds three bags of mortar for bricks). Remove two bags and pour one bag into the container.

Add 20 ml of water using the included measuring cup. Stir continuously until the mortar is smooth with no clumps.

Tip

One bag of mortar mix gives you about 20–25 minutes of working time. If it starts to dry, just add a small splash of water and stir again.

Warning

Don't mix all three bags at once. You only need one bag at a time. Mix a fresh batch when the previous one runs out.

03

Learn How to Lay Bricks

~5 min (practice)

Before starting the actual build, practice on a few bricks.

Take the modeling spatula and apply mortar to the bottom and one short side of a brick. The mortar layer should be thin — about 1 mm. Press the brick down and connect the next one side-by-side.

The interlocking system helps guide each brick into position. You should feel it click. If mortar squeezes out from the edges, scrape it off with the spatula and reuse it.

Tip

Less mortar is better than more. You can always add a little extra, but too much pushes bricks out of alignment.

Phase 2: Foundation

04

Pour the Foundation

~15 min (+ drying time)

Take the largest bucket — it contains the foundation mortar.

Pour 200 ml of water into the bucket. Stir thoroughly with a metal spoon or fork until the mix is completely smooth with no dry patches.

Pour the mixed foundation into the brick frame base. Spread it evenly so it fills the entire frame. Tap the frame gently on the table a few times to release air bubbles and level the surface.

Let it dry before continuing to the next step.

Tip

This is a good stopping point for Day 1. Pour the foundation in the evening, let it dry overnight, start laying bricks the next day.

Warning

Let the foundation dry completely before laying bricks on it. If you rush this, bricks may shift or sink. This can take 2–4 hours or overnight.

Phase 3: Walls

05

Layer 1

~20 min

Place bricks carefully along the bottom edge of the frame, following the diagram exactly. This first layer is the most important — everything else builds on top of it.

Start from one corner and work your way around. Apply mortar to each brick before placing it. Make sure each brick is level and aligned with the frame edges.

Tip

If a brick doesn't sit right, gently remove it, clean the mortar, and try again. Much easier to fix now than after it dries.
